Apple’s next generation of OS X, Mountain Lion, comes in this Summer
Announced today that the next generation of Apple’s OS X, namely Mountain Lion, comes in this summer, not very far from here. But if you look closely to those new features, you are actually looking at a desktop version of iOS. Even Apple itself claims that Mountain Lion is re-imagined for Mac, inspired by iPad. That word re-imagine sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
Do these new features not only sound but also look familiar?
Has the trend of porting the mobile features over to the desktop become move obvious?
Wait, there are 2 new features that look interesting, a new Gatekeeper that is going to make the Mac safer than ever, and a bunch of new features superficially designed for China with many popular China services, including QQ, 163, 126, Baidu, Youku, Tudou, and Sina Weibo. Baidu, the leading Chinese search provider, is a built-in search option in Safari for Chinese version of Mountain Lion.
